About Us

Myanmar Agriculture Network is a network of NGOs and CBOs initiated by Swanyee Group in Dec 2016 participation with Ashoka Social Development Association, Thirst-Aid, Rhodopendron Integrated Development, Myanmar Consumer Union, Nan Oo Teaching & National Youth Development Organization, Myo-Khame Development Organization and CBOs in various locations in myanmar.

Agriculture Sector

MAGRI building the good agriculture practices back better to create more productive, safe and sustainable agriculture. Good agriculture practices are vital role to reduce harmful of the health of the farmers and consumers, and reduce environmental and soil degradation. The Agriculture sector is a high priority for Myanmar. Agriculture contributes 30 percent of national GDP and about 68 percent of rural population relies on crop husbandry and livestock for their livelihoods and incomes. MAGRI focus The agricultural development strategy responds to the need of the consolidation and integration of various plans, strategies, roadmaps, and approaches; and to coordinate activities, projects, programs, and policies with various stakeholders.
